I can't seem to find the app that supports the split-screen view of two cameras though, which we'll want to use from #2. If you have a chance to jot down the name of the app I'd really appreciate it!

Thanks!
MeganB+Mhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00944271870228150830noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6548039454456114385.post-204786483508433572014-09-07T20:59:42.827-05:002014-09-07T20:59:42.827-05:00Megan~we got our cameras on Amazon, they are like ...Megan~we got our cameras on Amazon, they are like security cameras really. They are called Foscam and then there is a $5 app you can get for your phone to be the monitor. Really cool and they work great! Supposedly you can even use the cameras when you are away, not on wifi but we couldn't figure out how to break through our firewall to do that. But even just being able to peek at my phone when the kids are sleeping is great.Julia Gooliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14778787182629361642noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6548039454456114385.post-74095762054271953022014-09-07T19:23:19.383-05:002014-09-07T19:23:19.383-05:00Julia,

My baby is still sleeping fairly well, as you know, but I still feel so exhausted by the end of the day! Ugh. I really hope he turns it around soon! But no matter what, you'll get through it and it'll all be a blip and distant memory one day soon. Hang in!! You're a great mama! With my big kids driving me nuts theses days (William is getting molars, Henry is a dramatic 3 year old) I do whatever I have to, to get the most sleep. Routine can come later for us. But I feel you on missing kid free time. Eventually all our time will be kid-free though and then we'll want to snuggle a baby ;)Rachel and Johnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09979144585636076433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6548039454456114385.post-14398015599712848022014-09-05T14:58:57.477-05:002014-09-05T14:58:57.477-05:00Sleep! I feel that pain! At my worst I almost throttled my friend when she casually mentioned her baby was effortlessly sleeping 12 hours a night. I didn't, though, and that's what's most important! I also feel for you about the jacked back/neck. UGH! We all know it's worth the pain and sleepiness for these sweet kids, but if you can't vent to other moms who can you vent to?Sammy Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09948833224139672802noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6548039454456114385.post-61755695788502985112014-09-05T12:20:23.775-05:002014-09-05T12:20:23.775-05:00Thank you for that. Hubby just left for a year away. I tell you these things not to compare situations, but to really commiserate that I totally get where you are at. What really got me was when you said, "Another thing that totally sucks? Sleep deprivation that slowly builds up to the point of mental instability." I read it and thought....YES! I find it really frustrating when people make well meaning comments that I must feel better after a rare five hour stretch of sleep. In reality, I'm just barely out of my mental fog that weighs me down. Having kids is amazing and wonderful and exhausting. It's okay to share the reality of that. :) Hang in there. jenicinihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16361606793108116475noreply@blogger.com
