I accepted Christ when I was 13 years old, raised in a Christian home, attended private/Christian schools, etc., and this book made the Trinity seem so much more real, and the book really made me think. I did have a few issues with the book, and some things just didn't feel right, but I couldn't put my finger on it. I would recommend this book though, because, like you said, it is thought provoking. And I was entertained as well, I laughed and cried a lot!MyRunningJourneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13382948960027172334noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6548039454456114385.post-36841391216283287742009-05-18T10:25:00.000-05:002009-05-18T10:25:00.000-05:00I read The Shack...had to think it over and read i...I read The Shack...had to think it over and read it again...I am sure I could read it again and still find something new. But I really felt touched by the forgiveness part also...it was a great read and I still giggle a little picturing God in my head. :)Sarah B.https://www.blogger.com/profile/08275564927380166304noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6548039454456114385.post-28625977772822569232009-05-18T08:36:00.000-05:002009-05-18T08:36:00.000-05:00Thanks for the book review. It makes me see each of the Trinity in a whole new way and see more love than I ever expected God to have for us.

I just finished reading "Same Kind of Different As Me" and it kind of talks about the why bad things happen to good people in the sense that some things have to die so that new things can be born from them. Bad things need to happen so that others can step up to help, show encouragement, and show God's love in a new way.

It was a great book too. I think I'll finish the Shack today!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6548039454456114385.post-46663908846742463292009-05-16T09:29:00.000-05:002009-05-16T09:29:00.000-05:00I have never heard of this book.
