I was even thinking a similar blue for the living room that you have in your apt now with a really really pale blue on the ceiling (so it looks almost white but contrasts with the crown molding just enough to make it pop). A seafoam would also look really great against the wood trim. Just some ideas. Picking out colors is fun, it's the actual painting that I try to avoid.Hannahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08027303498647309245noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6548039454456114385.post-84353620502260475672007-12-05T20:07:00.000-06:002007-12-05T20:07:00.000-06:00Awww, wow! It seems like all those homes are so new and bright, none with darker wood finishes. Let me know if you find any inspiration for me!Julia Gooliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13784248013181090775noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6548039454456114385.post-39708442406873095582007-12-05T11:13:00.000-06:002007-12-05T11:13:00.000-06:00Looks like you have a fun project ahead of you! You need to stalk some bios on the Nest D&R board - the girls over there have some beautiful houses you could really draw some inspiration from. I look forward to more pics!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6548039454456114385.post-12717895625834548232007-12-04T22:15:00.000-06:002007-12-04T22:15:00.000-06:00I didn't see all of these great details to the wal...I didn't see all of these great details to the walls and ceilings when we visited Tony and Lois earlier. I love your ideas about highlighting the crown molding and arch way! This will be fun.Momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05355059371636624377noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6548039454456114385.post-39953159579534654602007-12-04T21:41:00.000-06:002007-12-04T21:41:00.000-06:00Jules, I like the before pictures. I agree that ...Jules, I like the before pictures. I agree that with all the wood, earthy might be better. But who knows how everything will work out? I have faith in you that whatever you will decide, it will look great, because it always does. I would try to make whatever you can work so you don't have to go spending even more money buying new things (especially when the "old" stuff is new). Can't wait to see the updated pics as more progress happens.kerihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16259025725650602184noreply@blogger.com
