My oldest will start pre-K next year and while I think she'll be more than ready (she's mostly independent and loves the idea of school), it'll be hard for me. Letting go...sigh. It's not AS different for me since Annie still will go to her home daycare on school breaks and every Tue and Thu but still weird. And hopefully FUN too!!Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17928807868790599467noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6548039454456114385.post-30439307786604172002014-08-27T09:46:13.028-05:002014-08-27T09:46:13.028-05:00Omg, I cannot even fathom H going to actual school...Omg, I cannot even fathom H going to actual school!!! I was just thinking about it this morning (he's been in a daycare/preschool since he was 10 weeks old, and now that he's getting older we periodically think about switching him over to a Montessori school, but he's so happy where he is that I'm very hesitant to rock the boat) and I realized that whether we move him soon or not, in TWO YEARS he'll be in KINDERGARTEN!!!! How is that possible?!? And then we'll start having to figure out childcare for the summers!

Congratulations on the new work situation for Nate! That's awesome - I've never been the primary daycare person, since I've always worked much longer days than M (and he works 1 mile from daycare, so that's kind of a no-brainer), but now that we share the pickups and dropoffs, I know how totally different it is to have help on daycare days!Veterinarimomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09803468211268638579noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6548039454456114385.post-1959921037499073042014-08-27T01:19:55.535-05:002014-08-27T01:19:55.535-05:00Isaac's been in "school" for awhile ...Isaac's been in "school" for awhile now...he went to his first day of mother's day out when he was 19 months old. He did preschool in the States and now he's in school 3 mornings a week. But I STILL feel like starting kindergarten in January is going to be a huge deal. School hours here are awesome (8-1) so he's not there all day, but he goes EVERY SINGLE DAY. And I just keep thinking, jeez. He'll only be 5 and he's already going to be away from home 5 days a week? Not sure this mama is ready for that! I'm super excited for him and think he will love it, especially because he'll go to kindergarten on the farm and the teacher is amazing, but ACK. Kindergarten!! And about 8 months before I was really prepared for him to start!Kristalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13844262891800455616noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6548039454456114385.post-35160003613932743502014-08-26T13:15:16.808-05:002014-08-26T13:15:16.808-05:00You know I am, girl, and it's wild!
