October Eye Candy

Pretty pictures are a must on perfect fall days like these.

This was Sunday, October 6th. We did church in the morning, then Truman and I did a 'nature hunt' where we picked up leaves for a craft project. Then we went to the playground with Nate and CC.

And we did lots of marveling about how much Truman has grown compared to last year, by this same tree. 2012 versus 2013.

Onto the pictures---total fall eye candy, if you ask me.

Our house still makes me smile with it's fall decor.

My favorite part about this tree is standing underneath it, feeling like it's glowing all around us from the leaves. This picture is blown out but I still like it.

And the playground across the street, at the elementary school where the kids will go someday. Kind of makes me emotional sometimes to think about him playing here as a school aged kid sooner than later.

I keep thinking that the growing will slow down, but it doesn't!

  5. Gorgeous photos, Julia! I can't believe your trees are so colorful already. We don't have quite the color yet down here in MO. Another week or two and it'll be full on fall.
