I am 11 weeks pregnant with baby #3! Couldn't quite make it to 12 weeks to share the news, since I'm showing already, all of our friends and family know our secret, and I've been checking the heartbeat on my doppler daily. It's time to make it internet official!I'm due 7.8.14.
Super excited, still in shock, and embracing this pregnancy with all I've got. I was still waiting for my first post-partum period to return, but it never did. Two lines showed up instead:) Talk about a nice surprise. You can see that poor Nate needed a bit of time to let this sink in---we know we are in for a wild ride!
Details to follow. Hope you are ready to follow my final pregnancy because I'm ready to post all about it, one last time.

ReplyDeleteI stumbled onto your blog about a year ago by searching "Transition to motherhood blog." We were expecting our first child at the end of July and I love reading blogs! Of course, I found your birth stories and read them, because doesn't everyone love reading birth stories??
I think it was Truman's birth story that I saw a picture of you with your parents. And I thought, "My gosh, that looks so much like my friend Amy's mom, Beth." Whatever, just a look alike. But I thought about it later and went back to look again. Eerie, how much your mom looks like Amy's....so I texted Amy. And she told me that you were her cousin! Serendipity! I was a greeter at Amy's wedding reception and knew that her mom did have several sisters, so I HAD to ask her!
Anyway, I felt that I should share the story, because it seems so crazy and such a small world. I've loved reading your monthly updates on your kids, especially because my daughter is now 4 months old and I like to know what to look forward to next! :) Congratulations again on the new addition!!!
