Pretty pictures are a must on perfect fall days like these.
This was Sunday, October 6th. We did church in the morning, then Truman and I did a 'nature hunt' where we picked up leaves for a craft project. Then we went to the playground with Nate and CC.
And we did lots of marveling about how much Truman has grown compared to last year, by this same tree. 2012 versus 2013.
Onto the pictures---total fall eye candy, if you ask me.
Our house still makes me smile with it's fall decor.
Just around the corner, our favorite tree awaits.
My favorite part about this tree is standing underneath it, feeling like it's glowing all around us from the leaves. This picture is blown out but I still like it.
And the playground across the street, at the elementary school where the kids will go someday. Kind of makes me emotional sometimes to think about him playing here as a school aged kid sooner than later.
Daddy came to play!
Found a few puddles on the slides. Was in heaven.
Curls.
Yep, we are totally riding the high of October being the most beautiful month in Wisconsin. Love it. Stay away, snow.
Amen to that!!!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pics. I need to get my nice camera out before this gorgeous short season is over!
Gorgeous photos! And yes, your boy went from toddler to little kid for sure!
ReplyDeleteAlso, your pumpkin carving skills are crazy impressive :)
Beautiful pictures!! Fall has finally hit here in MO and I'm impatiently waiting for our tree to color up. Must take picture before we move to a land of no falls!
ReplyDeleteLove the photos!
ReplyDeleteI keep thinking that the growing will slow down, but it doesn't!
Gorgeous photos, Julia! I can't believe your trees are so colorful already. We don't have quite the color yet down here in MO. Another week or two and it'll be full on fall.
