The ladies with their babies [well, actually we swapped for this picture]:
My little man sports a new bandanna. He has no clue I'm going to run a marathon, nor does he care.
My official bib! Also, please note the inhaler.
I wonder why Nate likes my new fanny pack so much? Can you look closely and see the name?
Lots of beans and gels, huh? I didn't even use them all but it never hurts.
My boring dinner on Saturday night: whole wheat pasta and red sauce.
Up next: race day in pictures!
[I did, in fact, return to work today despite this post during the day. Thank goodness for scheduled posts and let's all hope I'm not making a fool of myself in front of my patients today. I hope I can teach them to walk when I can barely do it, either.]
I had no idea there was so much gear involved!
ReplyDeleteYour mom is such a cutie patootie!
ReplyDeleteLove the shirt Nate "designed". How come Henry didn't get a specially designed bandana?
Really love the necklace!
I love Nate's shirt... my hubs calls me "wifey" as well. :) Also-- where did you get your running skort? I have been looking all over for one and haven't been able to find them!
ReplyDeleteWhere did your mom find that necklace? I want one! :)
ReplyDeleteYou are so amazing!!! i love the necklace, it is perfect.
ReplyDeleteThe pic of all three pups sitting so nicely is adorable!
ReplyDeleteYour fan shirts are hilarious. Gotta love how thorough Nate was! :)
There's just something about your gear laid out so nicely that reminded me of the first day of school! Lol.
And that necklace is seriously perfect!
i love these pictures! how did you run and haul 20 pounds of gear??? :)
ReplyDeletePsh! I'd totally lay out all of my gear as well. In fact, I do this all the time with little sticky notes attached in case I need something else that I can't quite put in the pile yet.
ReplyDeleteOh man, that Lucie pup is super cute!!!!! Especially the one where you are holding all three of them.
The necklace was made by a girl selling jewelry at the Expo....but I have seen similar ones on Etsy. Just search for 'marathon charm' or something like that.
ReplyDeleteI know the gear is ridiculous, but somehow I either wore it all or stored it in my pouch. Who knew running was such an involved sport?!
I got my running skort from REI but it's the Nike running skort and it's sold online, too. I think regularly it's something like $60 but I bought mine on sale:)
I can't beleive how organized you are! I am always fixing my chip to my shoe on the way to the race and pinning my number when I get out of the car. I'm so not organized. I'm loving the photos- esp Nate's tshirt. Great fun. I'm going to have to scour etsy for one of those cute charms! So cute! Love it!
