Yep, totally peed my pants when I saw our album at our front door tonight!
I love it. I was skeptical of Blurb's quality considering the low price but I swear to you that it's utterly fabulous. And I'm in love.
No, the pages aren't thick as cardboard and the cover isn't made of leather. But this album wasn't $1200 either. It was $75:) And I'm incredibly impressed with the result.
What's this behind Henry? Doesn't he look enthused?
"Mom, what is the big freaking deal? Why are you still taking pictures right now?"
I got the 11X13" size which is mighty big. It's difficult to portray proper sizing via photos but I thought my Diet Dr. Pepper might help put things into perspective:
See? Large and in charge.
This is our cover. It's crystal clear and just what I wanted:
And this is the back cover. Kind of symbolic with us walking into our reception site, no?
Inner front flap:
Inner back flap [this picture is blurry, sorry]:
And the title page:
Here are a few of my favorite pages. I swear these pictures don't do the book justice. It's always so hard to take pictures of albums but you have to trust me on this one. The details shine through much better in print than on a computer screen. I'm so glad I rescued my images from the internet and captured them on paper! And I'd like to end with a series of Henry pictures. Flexible, dramatic Henry pictures.
We are all counting down the hours until we hit the road for our STL trip [about 22, in case you were wondering.] So of course I won't be blogging until next week but I'll come armed with entertaining pictures for sure.
Must get packing now...and the album will make the trip, too:)
